They excavate a huge amount of dirt very quickly in their cheeks, this is why they are called "Pocket Gophers."

I captured this crazy scary video on Saturday July 31st 2010. We were treating this 30 unit building for Bedbugs when we encountered this massive infestation. The tenants threw out there bed an frame and this was on the frame! It really looks as though they are racing!
