Roof Rats are brown to blackish in color, have a slender body and a long scaly tail. The tail is usually longer than the head and body. There are things you can do to prevent your home from becoming a haven for rodents. Trim trees and vines that are near your home. Dense shrubbery should be removed if it is close to the house as this is a prime harboring area.

Wood piles should also not be kept near the house. Pick up any fallen fruit from trees. Chimney caps are also a useful tool in keeping rats for getting into your home. We also recommend screening laundry vents and sealing holes around plumbing or electric areas.

Rock was raised in Cameron, Texas and moved to Austin in 1980. He began working for the company in 1980, while attending Southwest Texas State University. He was quickly promoted to manager, purchased the company in 1995. Rock is a certified applicator, licensed by the Structural Pest Control Service of Texas and has over 29 years of experience in the industry. In his spare time, Rock likes to stay active.

Robert was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He began working for the company in 1988. Robert is a licensed technician, licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas and has over 20 years of experience in the industry.

Ray Lopez was born and raised in Kyle. He is proud to reside in South Austin for the past 30 years. He has been a certified applicator since 1998.

Laura was born and raised in Southeast, Texas. She speaks both English and Spanish. She enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with her husband and family.
