I am a Northwest Arkansas resident who closed a sell on a house today. For the closing paperwork I had to provide the company who held the termite policy. Since we have lived in the house, Adams Pest out of Little Rock has had the policy coverage. Two weeks prior to closing I called Adams Pest and verified the policy was in effect. The person I spoke with verified the policy and indicated our house had a 20$ credit.

My realtor called Adams Pest and verified the policy was in effect the same day. When I received my HUD for review, there was a 300$ charge from Adams. I called to inquire why the charge was so high. Multiple people across 5 or 6 calls verified I had a policy in effect and the charges were too high and I had a 20$ credit. The owner's daughter called today and said there wasn't a policy and there wasn't a credit on my account and the 300$ was accurate.

I believe this company lacks integrity and was taking advantage of adding a bunch of money to the closing hoping I wouldn't notice. I will never do business with this company and I regret any business I have done with Adam's Pest control in the past

Update. Within hours of posting this review, the company reached out to me with an apology and an option to be removed from the automated process. As I said in my earlier post, they have great pest control service and my technician is the best, so I give their responsiveness five stars and and company response five stars! First off, let me say i have been with this company over 10 years. I get quarterly spraying and have termite coverage.

I love my technician, BUT, having said that, their scheduling process has changed and it sucks! My technician used to coordinate quarterly visits with me. Now a computer calls and actually TELLS me when they're coming, and if it doesn't work, hey call us back and let us know. Um, NO! How bout you, a human, call me and ASK me what works for me! Most people have a job and you can't just call me and tell me you will be at my house when it suits you. As I said, I love my technician, but if he ever leaves, I'm leaving too!

Bought a home the they had a Termite contract on. Was called and informed it was time for annual inspection. Went through 5 different scheduled appointments where no one ever showed up or called to tell me they had to reschedule. Each appointment I had to call and get scheduled as they never once called me to rescheduled. I was finally promised that they would make my appointment a priority and the first stop to ensure they wouldn't miss another appointment, guess what another no show and no call. Terrible company and professionalism and I would doubt they even do their billed services based on what I have seen.

I don't have a problem with my exterminator. Love the guy. My problem is with the automated calls that schedule appointments without consent. Then when you reschedule the exterminator comes anyway and has no idea. Or when the computer system has problem it takes forever to fix in system. They eventually fix it but it just doesn't catch up to the guy coming to the house. My suggestion is just call your local guy and deal with him. Forget the main office.

They were very efficient in getting me scheduled promptly I had a pretty bad infestation and was told they would probably have to come back which after a week they gladly returned. I still might have to have them come back a third time I don't think there are quite as many bait boxes placed in all of the rooms that should be. But so far they've been extremely easy to work with and I anticipate no hesitation to help on their part.

I was very disappointed with this company. While talking with an employee about a free inspection he asked me if my house was on a slab or crawl space? Once I said crawl space his voice tone changed. He never called back or came by. I was very disappointed because my parents always spoke highly of them & that's why I chose to call them. I even called again and left my info for a cbk but never heard back. Maybe he didn't like the crawlspace? Oh well

The service man showed up unannounced at my door to spray my house. I was upset with my husband thinking he had failed to let me know that he'd made an appointment with them. The man told me that my husband had called them and requested a service spray. I let him come in to do his job. I called my husband after he left and there was never an appt made by either one of us. I called the main office to complain about him showing up and lying to me saying he had spoken directly to my husband which he hadn't done.

The woman who answered the phone assured me the manager/owner would return my call. That NEVER happened! That's the second time they've shown up unannounced at my home and lied about having an appointment with us. We won't be using their service again! I'll find a company who can be truthful with us. I don't like liars!
