IPM is a pest management system that originated in agriculture and takes into account the risks and benefits of all pest management decisions. Dr. Scott got his start in entomology in the cotton fields of Arizona at the age of 10 when he helped his dad, Dr. Pete Lingren, on cotton pest research. The company was recognized as one of the 10 fastest growing businesses in the Brazos Valley in 2008 and 2010. In 2011, Pest Control Technology Magazine recognized our company as one of the Top 25 companies to watch.Just like Dr. Scott learned his passion for entomology from his father, he also learned a passion for community service from him as well. From inspiring struggling students to stick with their goals to opening his house to strangers displaced by hurricanes, Dr. Pete Lingren always wanted to help people. The only reason I no longer use their service is because I relocated for work. They are hands down, the most customer-oriented AND knowledgeable pest control service I have encountered (to include the my current location). The technician was so friendly and always willing to answer any questions I had. After the initial consultation and treatment, all other treatments were exterior.
He would always check in with me to see if I was experiencing any pest issues (I wasn't, of course) and then began treatment. During my time in College Station, I only had one issue- ants! They quickly became overwhelming and the technician rushed out (same day, if I recall) to address the the ants and educate me on how to keep them out. I highly recommend this company if you live in the College Station area.

I wanted to use Venus Pest Company because they are entomology-minded and offer a green/non-toxic service and don't try to make you sign up for a monthly service against your will. I reached out on-line and Jane contacted me by email very soon after to set something up. She worked hard to get me the next appointment available. The technician that came to the house was a really nice guy--Ken.
He was on-time and respectful and took the time to talk with me about our concerns. I could tell he loved his job and was very knowledgeable and dedicated. Thank the Lord for Venus Pest and I am happy to pay for excellent, locally-owned, personable service. The major added bonus is that they offer the Bee Green service to keep my family away from toxins.

This company was a fantastic experience! I don't write reviews often but they did such a great job, were so efficient and effective - not to mention provided great quality customer service - that I felt it was the least I could do! Being a new home owner can be scary. but building a list of reliable and reputable companies to help me navigate through some of the things that come with it is a great relief. They are now my go-to company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in search of any pest control needs!

I used Venus at my previous house up to August 2020 when we moved. Now that we're settled in about a year now in our new place, I'm about to give them a call to restart service as I'm seeing summer pests in our new home. Great company and awesome service! They have been dependable and only charged what they quoted me. Very responsive to all my emails.
They always let me know when they were scheduled to come out and kept the appointments. I love that they will target exactly what I am needing and not try to push other unrelated services that I don't want in an overkill and expensive package.

Ken is the absolute best! He always has my home's safety and best interest in mind, he rescheduled the appointment due to rain without being asked. He is responsive, helpful, respectful and kind. A sudden fire ant mound overtaking my weep holes freaked me out. I called several companies, Venus was able to send out someone asap. DID A THOROUGH JOB; Both the tech and the gal at the office were SUPER NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE and the price was amazing. way better than the big alphabet company. These folks remind you of when customer service was really something businesses valued.

We came to check on a rental property we own and found it covered in what we thought was mouse droppings. They sent someone out super fast. He was VERY courteous; we really appreciated him wearing a mask for COVID, for example. He determined that it was rice weevils from open containers of grain type products that had multiplied and were attracted to the light by the windows.
He told us how to get rid of them, and said we didn't need his services. Didn't even charge us! That kind of honesty is rare nowadays. We will definitely hire them for any pest related services.

Results are excellent as usual - no bugs! What few that sneaked in between visits didn't stay alive very long - and my pest problem was rapidly increasing before I got with Venus Pest Company! They are responsive both on phone, on-line, via email, and in person. Every question is answered, every concern is noted and handled. Scheduled visits can be changed without any problem at all.

This company and their technician Dwayne have provided my family and I with professional, thorough and timely service. We had a yard flea treatment done with our initial service and the fleas are still gone. Due to a heat wave, we had bugs show up before our next scheduled service. Dwayne came out promptly, explained what was happening and provided us with a very complete treatment free of charge - just as promised! We would proudly recommend Venus Pest Control to anyone. I struggled to find a pest company that would treat quarterly, guarantee their work, and be flexible with a busy schedule, but a friend referred me to Venus, and I have been so happy with the service. They always check in to ensure we have been happy with the coverage, use products safe enough for our young son and pets, and are willing to come back if we have any issues. I have been thrilled with the customer service, speedy response time, knowledgable staff, the quality, and the price. Strongly, strongly recommend.

Love Venus - when I was looking for a pest control company their "pest free guarantee" drew me in, and it's for real. If you're between treatments (quarterly) and start seeing pests, call them and they'll come out free of charge. Some nearby construction had stirred up big wood roaches and after Venus made two visits in 3 weeks, they were gone for good. They treat inside and out, are always respectful, and notify you of your treatments ahead of time so you can reschedule if needed.

Simply the best in the business. We hired Venus when they went into business years ago, we moved away for 8 years, now we're back to retire and of course we rehired there service. The owner has a doctorate in Entomology from Texas A&M. We have had animals and kids so his sprays are safe. I made triple sure!

Great company with knowledgeable and professional technicians! I was set up on quarterly service and was always informed in advance of time and day of service and never had to worry about insect issues because they stayed on top of it. I recommend them for great service and the convenience of not having to remember to schedule service.

Completely solved pest problem in my 1940s home. When I moved in there was a bad roach infestation. With quarterly treatments by Venus, the roach problem was 100% eliminated, and my house has been pest-free for 2 years. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Venus even provided treatment, free of charge, when there was a some animal living under my house, and when there was a huge fire ant hill in my yard, even though these happened off-cycle of their quarterly visits. I strongly recommend this company.

The folks at Venus Pest Company are knowledgeable and professional. Easy to contact on the phone. They are all friendly and helpful. They used only the safest methods to keep an infestation of silver fish out of our home while protecting the health of our pets. They always called first and were on-time. This is absolutely the best pest control service I have used in 25 years. Jennifer is the best--personable, knowledgeable, and professional We had a tremendous problem with squirrels in our attic ( lots of them). Jennifer and Rob came and sealed the entryways on my roof. This itself was difficult. My roof is soooo steep. For two weeks Jennifer came to my house (always on time) to collect attic findings.
I no longer have any squirrel parties in my attic. We just switched to their general pest control. So far it's a great switch. By the way their prices are so reasonable:)
