SBBS is a very methodical, environmentally friendly, effective, professionally run service. We were contacted promptly, taught about the procedure of ridding bed bugs from our home, advised about the time needed for preparation and for the actual process. Everything promised was delivered and the bed bugs are gone, in one day, with no chemicals. Jesse, David and Ed are all extremely well educated in this process and are very hard working professionals. Sonny, the dog, is brilliant too. I have told family and neighbors of this wonderful company.

I've used SBBS a couple times for different properties after we discovered bed bugs in one of our tenants rooms. Both times, SBBS came out and assessed the problem and showed us where we had signs of bed bugs. After treatment, we have not had any sign of bed bugs again in either property. I am the Pest Control Supervisor at George Washington University. I've used SBBS since 2011 for all of our bed bug treatment and inspection needs. SBBS's heat approach is effective and allows us to get rid of the problem quickly. It is a one time treatment so we get students back into their rooms the same day. At GW we are committed to using as eco friendly pest control methods as possible, so the pesticide free heat treatment is ideal.

When students complain about bites, we inspect and if positive, we call Jesse and he has a heat grew out to us generally in 1 to 2 business days. Jesse has rearranged his scheduled to get his heat crews out to us as soon as possible when we have had very concerned students and parents demanding a heat treatment ASAP. In the last 9 years SBBS has heat treated over 50 rooms for us.

They have only had one failure in all of this time and this was due to the student refusing to do the preparation. For the failed treatment, we had the property manager work with the to student to have the room properly prepared for the treatment and Jesse and his crew re-treatment for free under the warranty and solved the problem. I highly recommend SBBS for any bed bug service.

I am in a business that occasionally has bed bug issues and have used SBBS exclusively to do inspections. They have also been extremely responsive in setting up the inspections, are always on time and are quick and efficient. We get a call from the inspector right away and can take action quickly. I have also had occasion to be present during a heat remediation.

The techs are extremely efficient, know exactly what they are doing (even when they have to run the equipment up to a third floor apartment) and don't waste a minute of time (although the remediation does take a few hours). All the employees are friendly and helpful and best of all we have never had any repeat issues when they do the job. I would highly recommend you use their services if you want the job done right the first time!

We were very happy with the services from SBBS. We recommend the company because they were professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. They explain contract service agreement and inspected the house. They took their time to inspect the rooms. Thankfully, no bedbugs were found. We liked how they went over other potential causes for bites.

Jesse and his whole crew are outstanding. They are always courteous and friendly. When I call for an inspection they always exceed my expectations for response, and do a great job inspecting. I am always confident that when they do not find something then there was nothing there. When they do find something they always make a point to show us what and where.

The treatment team always does a good job. they are quiet and unobtrusive. They go about their job very efficiently. I know when they are done I will not have anymore issues in the rooms they treat.

I was very pleased with SBBS. The day I called, Jesse and his bedbug-sniffing dog conducted a thorough inspection of the whole house. Then he gave me the best diagnosis I could hope for: that I did not have a bedbug infestation. He did have concerns about one old mattress, which he offered to dispose of for me. There no upsell for a remediation job I didn't need - instead, an efficient and informative inspection that earned this five-star review.

We've used SBBS twice now, and could not be happier with their services. The first time we used them, I was thirty-nine weeks pregnant, when my husband and I suspected the bites I was getting all over my arms were from bed bugs. SBBS was able to schedule somebody to come out that very afternoon to inspect the house, and thanks to their dog, they were able to immediately identify where the bugs were living.

They came out two days later with their equipment to heat treat the house. Jesse, our inspector, was also super knowledgeable. Based on his visual inspection of the bed bugs, he determined that they had probably been in the house since "late October, early November" (it was February when SBBS came out). This turned out to be incredibly accurate, as I had been on a business trip at exactly that time!

The second time we used SBBS was because my two children had been waking up with some bug bites. While they didn't necessarily look like BB bites, anybody who's dealt with BBs before knows the lingering trauma. Once again, Jesse came out that very afternoon with his dog to inspect the house. After a very thorough inspection, he was able to put our minds to ease that these were not bed bug bites. Overall, SBBS has been extremely prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional, and I recommend them to anybody dealing with the hell that are bed bugs.

Jesse came out to my home within a few hours of my call. His dog, Barker, performed a complete inspection of my home. Both Jesse and his dog were great! Barker did not find any bed bugs which was a huge relief and Jesse explained that the exoskeletons found by a previous company were in fact carpet beetles and not bed bugs. Barker and Superior Bed Bugs saved me thousands of dollars and the hassle of flipping my house upside-down!

READ THIS REVIEW! You need to know about the contract SBBS insisted I sign when they showed up for bed bug treatment. This is a week after I paid them $200 for their initial inspection, which found bed bugs. It is also after an enormous amount of work to prepare for the special requirements of heat treatment that SBBS gives you. The contract had extraordinary provisions I had never seen in any agreement before, and I refused to sign without edits, especially since I already had a signed agreement from SBBS to do the work that they had filled out when they did the initial visit.

The house was ready, I had the pets in carry cases ready to vacate the house, and SBBS walked away from the job and left me bug infested and starting all over. The days of work needed to prepare for heat treatment were largely wasted (the exterminators that I ended up using - less than half the price! -- used different methods and required hardly any prep).

To be clear, I had a signed agreement from SBBS to conduct heat treatment for $2600 to get rid of bed bugs. They had already inspected the house and found the bugs. It took another week to schedule the treatment - a week that was needed for all the prep work moving furniture, running all clothes and linens through the dryer, gathering all the things that needed to be removed from the house to avoid heat damage).

When the tech showed up, he walked the house, said everything was ready, and then sprung the contract. It came with an ultimatum. The tech said the contract couldn't be changed, and they wouldn't do the work without it. He refused to let me speak to the manager, and the company has not responded to my communications since they walked out on me. I have attached a picture of the contract.

It has a "strict confidentiality" agreement requiring SBSS' written approval before posting any reviews. It was a release from any liability for pretty much anything, including fire and "failure to perform the Services." Keep in mind that you are supposed to vacate the house to their tech for hours. The contract even shielded the company from their own negligence.

I have never seen anything like it. Before they walked out on me, I made every effort to reach an accommodation, including agreeing to sign a contract with the most offensive sections simply crossed out. They refused my offer, as well as my request to speak to the manager. The tech left the house for his calls with the manager. P.S. Keep in mind the confidentiality agreement when evaluating the review ratings.
