Every new Pestban Technician begins by attending classroom and field training and then is required to pass state registration requirements before we allow them to work on their own. In order to continue their professional development we hold regular company wide training sessions as well as sponsor state approved Continuing Education Credit Courses. Peatban is a great pest control service. They are minimally invasive and always come out quickly if any follow-up appointments are needed. They've also dealt with bee nests and other things for me. 5 stars!

Pretty dissatisfied with this company. Was referred by a friend but wish I would've done more research before getting locked into a contract for a service that is ineffective. I bought and moved into an older house and immediately began seeing cockroaches, luckily just the American ones that are common in GA (often referred to as "waterbugs" in Atlanta).

I have had the interior and exterior of the house sprayed quarterly with multiple visits in between since October 2021. I still see at least one cockroach a week - they are dead when I find them but. I would prefer to be completely rid of them. The last time I requested an adhoc service, the tech told me I would need to "get a contractor to inspect the house and find out how the bugs are getting in".I'm no expert on extermination but I thought that's what pest control/exterminators were for? Needless to say, Pestban doesn't care if they're solving your problem, in fact, I guess it benefits them to not solve anything at all so they can continue getting paid. I will be going with another service once this contract is up, but I guess it goes without saying that I do not recommend using this company.

Got 1 year included with new house purchase. Worker installed too few stations then filled them all with poison right away. Stations are supposed to be filled with attractant first (wood and cellulose) then swapped to poison IF termites are found. Complete waste of money. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

It's good company. I have using them for few years. They accidently cut my sprinkler pipe when working on termite bait, but they covered all the cost and I understand things happen. It's handled smoothly, so I am still happy with them.

I would like a courtesy text message before each appointment. Sometimes you miss emails or overlook voicemail. I wish text messages were standard. Other than that, they do a pretty good job. I especially appreciate them sweeping down any cobwebs or the like from my outdoor patio ceilings (front & back). I also like that you can call them on demand, in between services, if you're having an issue with pests.

I did have to hire another pest control company, BREDA PEST, because after moving into my new home which was on the market for a few weeks there were lots of critters to eliminate.

Their services typically take care of all our insect needs. Sometimes we have to call for a "touch up" respray, but that's expected when seasons change. Our home has the distribution tubes installed in the walls, so I think that has a huge impact in preventing insects from entering the house in the first place. Either way, they are great at returning my calls and coming out within a day or two if I see a creepy crawly inside the perimeter. Highly recommend.

I don't know what they use for their spray, but it doesn't seem very effective. I didn't have these issues at my last house-I'm a clean freak! There are always ants and spiders around. It's frustrating I'm locked into a contract for service that doesn't work. I'm changing providers as soon as the contract is up. The customer service office people are great and the techs are nice too, but their stuff just doesn't work. The last time they came out for a "touch up, " ants were back within like three days! They're coming back yet again but I don't expect a resolution, sadly.

We were in the middle of a bathroom remodel when the workmen removed the tubing from behind the wall for our pest control. PestBan sent Joe, construction manager, to fix the issue. This was the absolute nicest young man EVER. He was professional and very personable. Want a great person, PestBan better do what they can to keep this young man. GREAT EMPLOYEE! Thank you!

This company is full of lies from the top to the bottom. Their services came with the purchase of a brand new smart home. The entire year was just full of just constantly seeing a steady decline in the technicians used to the point where we just decided to go with a new company. We received an email from Pestban that "we're sorry to lose our business." I'm a firm believer in paying a bill I made sure I owed them nothing and the final bill was paid. Months go by and they randomly show up while we're at work.

The tech did "something" and left a bill for $85. This was Nov10th 2021 which was a Friday so I called their office and I immediately sense that the first person I spoke with was treating it like "we never cancelled' so I asked if there was a manager I could speak with? The answer was they're not available but I could leave a voicemail. I did, they NEVER called back and 2 days later they ran my debit card for $85! With NO prior permission!

I would not recommend this service for most homes. I paid for this service because the of the "guarantee" but have not seen a decrease in live roaches. I have called to have them come out 2 additional times but still no decrease. You cannot cancel your contract or receive a prorated refund so I paid for a useless service.

Our home was built in 2006 with the built in wall system and termite bait stations. Up until the last year or so the service has been seamless with little or no issues. Although they intially come inside to treat because of work we were not available when they came out so that wasn't an issue. No big deal. All of sudden they have stopped conducting services that have done since 2006 i.e., wasp nest removal, dirt daubers nest removal, spiders and the like.

I have a horrendous wasp problem a constant battle every year! Recently a tech came out placed the bill on my door. Several dirt dauber nests were near the front door. He didn't bother removing them. (See photos, I sprayed them before removing them) I called and was told that service is an additional cost. I'm paying the same price for less service? So, 2021.

Since 2006 they have walked around my home and removed those pest as they treated the wall system. After 13+ years there's a reasonable expectation that it would continue until you are notified at least. Wait there's more! My termite system is only inspected ONCE per year now. The only reason I know is that I've had to remove centipede grass from atop the stations on several occasions.

When I called I was told the treatment system they use is now more potent so it doesn't have to be inspected but once a year. All for the same price mind you. The part that chaps my behind is they didn't have the decency to call me to say "hey we are changing services and you'll pay the same price, too bad". I realize being on the southside has it disadvantages when it comes to tech travel.

I know my builder built quite a number of homes close by in Douglasville so that is not an excuse. I'm looking for an explaination to why I'm being charged the same for far less services.

DO NOT USE this company. I have a brand new construction home. I started pest control services with Pestban on 7/13/2021. Since then I had a follow up service on 8/4/2021 because I was still seeing spiders and ants. I now have an ant infestation, that I did not have prior to using Pestban services. The soonest they can get me in again is 8/13, days away.

There does not seem to be any urgency with getting to my house. The chemicals or process they use does not seem effective as I have a colony of ants crawling up my wall. (I am not exaggerating, will post pictures shortly). Customer service or whomever answers the phone is very nice over the phone but the service itself is not effective. Almost seems like its attracting the insects instead of repelling.

I used them for 4 years at my townhome. I moved into a bigger house and the owner before us did not utilize pest control. We started seeing more insect issues after the first treatment inside the house. I called back to schedule another appointment after a week of seeing insects and I was informed they were short staffed and it would be 2 weeks out before I can get another visit.

I would be okay if the rep who treated the house did her job. She had a poor attitude and didn't really want to do her job. I would rate 1 star however 2 stars is because the supervisor called me to hear my concerns and apologized. Same week another company stopped by and identified the source of the insects issue.

Today Pestban came out to do a service on my home. I was away from home and got a motion alert on my phone. I wasn't doing anything at the time so I decided to watch the tech spray my home from my security camera. The tech never even sprayed my back portion of my home. I called Pestban and told them my issue. They only replied "we can send someone back at no charge" I'm like REALLY NO CHARGE!

That's what I'm paying you guys to do in the first place! I told the mgr Jonathon that when when companies come to your home to do a job we trust them to do the complete job the first time! That trust is broken and I will be finding another company to service my home. I don't know how long this has been going on, I may go through my cameras and check. Thanks for opening my eyes Pestban

If you don't want termites, call anyone else. I've had termites for 3 years and had no clue. They check traps but check nothing else. The termite traps are trash. Quite frankly I'm not sure why you want to draw termites to you home. Now they come up with a "1 year version" and don't check your house at all. Termites build everywhere. It's not your job as a consumer to know what that looks like when you hire a company to do so. Anyway, I found out the hard way and a lawsuit will be coming soon. If you have a similar situation please reach out.

We've moved in a new home in 2018. The builder paid for 1 year service with PestBan. The last two services I've personally observed how the technician arrived at the house, dropped the bill in the mailbox, spent another 10 min in the vehicle then left. I tried speaking with a manager but no success. Fast forward 2 years, I've tried giving them another chance today 6/22/2021.

The technician gave me an outrageous quote just to restart the service.when i asked him why is so high he said "you have an old house". I should have know better. stay away from this company. They did not learn during all 2020 how important customer service is.

I wouldn't recommend pestban. They are extremely overpriced and there are much cheaper and more reliable companies in the area. The built in pest control system didn't seem to do anything for my house. My neighbors who are also seen by them had issues with them not covering certain common insects just because they are obviously a cheap company. Many others will come out and treat for any issue within 24 hours without giving you a hassle. I switched to Massey and I'm much happier with my decision.

Horrible. They force you to upgrade pest control to "german cockroaches which is additional $200+ a year without even assessing. I did had regular cockroaches, not German and they forced me to pay for "german" upfront. DO NOT USE THEM

We experienced an issue with millipedes due to heavy rains. We contacted our service " Pestban" and reported it. Within 24 hours we had a service call as part of our contract. The Technician Eric was super professional and friendly. He went the extra mile spraying and addressing the issue. Definitely recommend this Company.

Where to begin. My first service with pestban was for my lawn. My driveway was stained with whatever they put out. They attempted to clean it to no avail. Second, I have a fenced in back yard that is locked. I requested for pestban to call before coming so that I can unlock the gate. I got home one day with a pestban service sheet in my front door stating that they did an entire lawn service.

The gate was locked. 3/4 of my lawn is in my backyard. They were charging me for something that didn't get done. I went through customer service and got it corrected. The next service, no call before arriving in my driveway again. I cancelled the service. Fast forward to the next year, I called to give them another chance to which the manager said he would not do my lawn ever again. Cool.

We had the same issue of pestban showing up without notice with the other branches as well. It clearly reads on my file, and on each sheet given to the guys that come out, to call before they come. After several more instances we finally got a bug and termite guy was wonderful and always called in advance. Now that he is gone, we are back to pestban showing up without notice.

The last time, at 8am with no notice of even having an appointment, ringing the doorbell for 10 straight minutes, waking up my 6 month old. I would not let him in to do anything and I immediately called customer service. When the first lady I spoke to gave me an attitude, I asked to speak with her boss. After a couple more remarks from her, she hung up on me.

After speaking with several former employees from this company, and seeing how the company operates first hand, it is very clear that there is a major communication issue from the people you speak to on the phone and the people that show up at your house. I truly believe that it is a reflection of poor leadership and management. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I also expect whoever this online c.s. rep is to respond to my review. To you I say this; if you wish to disagree with anything I have stated, I have full documentation and pictures to back everything in this review. I want nothing more from your company other than to never associate with you all again.

Horrible customer service experience! I canceled automatic renewal but they continued to service two additional times. On the 2nd trip they left Bill I immediately called to refute and remind that I canceled. I was told that it would be handled and Pestban and I went our separate ways. Months later I get bill for the two service trips after my cancellation.

I call again and was told it would be handled disregard. Months later I get 3rd letter stating bill would be turned over to collections! I called and demanded charges corrected. I ended up paying half against my will to avoid it going to collections and to be done with Pestban.

After my experience earlier this week, I can highly recommend PestBan. I previously used a company many owners in our neighborhood were using and was disappointed with their service. I had a couple of companies come out and quote me and Allen's quote from PestBan was hands down the winner. PestBan repaired and retreated some old bad spot where the former company drilled into my front porch and back slab.

The technician, Jessie, was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease just as I did when Allen came out for the quote. The work was done with new traps set and old removed in a timely manner. I got a letter from Elaine in their office to send to our HOA without any difficulty as it was something we discussed I needed as part of the quote. This office really appears to work as a family and deliver customer care. Its super refreshing to know companies actually know their business and care about making the end user comfortable. Decided we did not want delivery of chemicals directly into our home after we had paid for annual service. Technician came out, and treated outside only. Credit given for allowing us to cancel the contract; however, charging $150 for a one-time service that wasn't a complete service seems unfair given that annual service is $300. Make sure you're comfortable with services prior to signing up.

Decided since they have gotten worse in the past year to cut them lose from my personal residence and my rental properties. They have had a huge noticeable decline in customer service and the last increase in prices stopped it for me, shopped around and gave them the notice this past week to stop all of it. The fact that they don't even bother to try to compete and improve when someone pays them $5k a year for services on his properties shows they have a big gap to overcome. There are far too many other competitors with higher ratings and that offer better prices and support, get a clue Pestban.
