Cockroaches are attracted to warm, moist environments and they easily adapt to their environment. The cockroach prefers food sources such as sweets, starches and meat products, but they will eat almost anything organic in nature including cheese, dried skin flakes, glue and even beer. To avoid an infestation keep food in tightly sealed containers and do not allow dirty dishes to pile up in the sink overnight. Stink Bug

Our area has been troubled for several years by the Brown Marmorated Stinkbug. These pests are fairly new to the east coast and were first found in Allentown, PA in 1998. Though considered household pests, they don't bite or eat our food. Stink bugs enter homes in the Fall to find a place to overwinter and find shelter from the cold. In the winter, when inside air temperatures increase or on a warm day, these bugs may emerge inside your home.They are about a half to one inch long with a mottled brown color and are named for the unpleasant odor they emit when aggravated or crushed. Some describe the smell as similar to a skunk's odor and find it difficult to wash off hands.

Homeowners who spot spiders in the interior of the residence will likely need to procure an exterminator as soon as possible. Some spider species, in fact, are poisonous. Black widows, which are found in most regions of the country, can be especially dangerous to small children and pets. We've got the knowledge and expertise to deal with any spider infestation. The critters can be removed from the various nooks and crannies of the household before they have a chance to spread to other areas.

Great experience all the way around. Darryl Gagnon the service tech was outstanding. Called ahead to let me know the timing, showed up on time, did the inspection and explained what he identified very clearly. Every once in a while you have an experience that is worth sharing. Today was that day. Awesome experience, very satisfied, and yes I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Steve Cox was so kind and willing to work with my schedule. He made a late visit just to accommodate me. He arrived when he said he would, was extremely patient, and very thorough. He explained how to monitor pest and rodent traffic and checked all the areas I let him know I had seen pests. I highly commend him and recommend Bettee Termite & Pest Control.

He even helped with a big spider inside the house the morning of a service. I placed a glass over it because I didn't want to handle it! Steve took care of the spider webs outside too. Felipe is a nice young man who applied my Mosquito Treatment today. He was very professional and took the time to tell me areas of concern to watch for where there are drains and excessive foliage- places where mosquitos love to gather. I had Felipe as my technician and he was great! He called me when arriving to my house and proceeded to spray my backyard, Front yard and the bushes by my driveway. He avoided my vegetable garden as I had instructed. He took his time doing the treatment and was very polite. I have been using better termites and pest control since 1995 when I was recommended to them by the builder that built my home back then. Since then I moved and I went into a townhouse development where you have neighbors and those neighbors affect how you care for your property. Better termites and pest control has been providing me yearly termite inspections, I do exterior treatments for all sorts of different pests six times a year and if I ever have a problem, which I have not, they will come out and identify the problem and tend to it. George the owner is responsive, and caring and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
This is an industry where you really have to know what is being provided, the chemicals that are being used, and that services are being done, especially if you're not home for every visit. Better termites and pest control is also quite fair in their pricing and it's a small family-run business. I recommend them highly.

Spectacular response and service from Better Termite. I really appreciate Juan's service to conduct an inspection. I was looking for a refinance termite inspection and Better came up in my search, I was helped by Michelle via chat and received a call in less than an hour from Brian who had a slot available the next day. Totally awesome! Less than 24 hours from when I searched to having a terrific affordable and prompt service completed.
