Jim Augustine has been active in both state pest control associations, as well as serving as the President for the Kansas Pest Control Association in 1973 and as a Director of Region 7 for the National Pest Control Association from 1993 to 1995.Jim Augustine started his business during the summer of 1966 and worked from his home. In the early days, Mr. Augustine's customer base consisted of residential and commercial pest control as well as termite treatments. Augustine Exterminators began with one service technician and one salesman; Jim Augustine!
Augustine Exterminators, Inc., has grown from a small one man operation, to a large family-owned corporation with ten residential and commercial pest control service specialists, seven termite service specialists, a sales force of six representatives, a corporate support staff of six personnel, one technical director, and one staff entomologist, for a total of 37 employees in over 39 years.

I highly recommend Augustine Exterminators and am very pleased with the service provided by Lee Griggs. I had termites in a tree on my property but not at the house. He took extra steps to try to insure they would not get to the house. He was also able to use products that would not impact my organic gardening status or my blue tail lizards. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

Jim is very thorough and pays attention to all of the details. He found wasp nests we didn't know we had. He also explained the difference so we were able to tell which ones would be more aggressive. It is so nice to have the peace of mind that we won't have problems. I also appreciate that if I do have problems, I can call and they will be back out. I haven't had that problem though. It's been fantastic.

He just came out on an extra call to look at a few things for me, and was absolutely awesome! Very friendly, very helpful, and he took the time to explain things to me clearly. The exterminator came out to our home free of charge and inspected the premises. He did not find anything and was very honest and up front about what he saw. He did give some advice on future services but did not pressure on anything. He was extremely professional and helpful. In the end, there was no charge for the visit. I've already passed the name on to a relative due to the honesty and quick response to come out. Great company!

I worked with Sandy to get a quote and schedule an appointment for an initial treatment. She was extremely responsive and detailed in her information. Sandy scheduled Jim to inspect our home for pests and provide the initial treatment. Jim arrived on time and provided a thorough inspection inside and out and applied an initial treatment. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We will continue using Augustine for our pest control services!

My first time using any exterminator. Joe arrived with a call before hand to let me know, was friendly, very courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He addressed all my questions and concerns and even wore boot covers inside the house. This was a rush appointment due to construction repairs crew arriving the next day to cover over the necessary treatment areas. Bravo! Augustine's. I highly recommend them!

I can't say enough about communication with this company. Love them! My technician Lee, called me the night before to check in and called immediately after treatment for his findings and recommendations. We were not present at the home and so appreciate such a responsive company and technician. We had initially tried a different company that went to see the property and 5 days later we were still waiting for our quote and findings. So glad we found them. We 100% will continue to use their services.

Derrick was great and thoroughly troubleshot our issue before recommending a course of action. I was convinced I had a swarm of termites and after a quick insect anatomy refresher, Derrick showed me the invaders were actually ants. Whew! He was also very conscientious about our pet's safety and during the treatment application, he avoided sensitive vegetable and herb plots around the house. Derrick's professionalism and knowledge about his trade were refreshing and I would highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend Augustine Exterminators. We've had some insect issues around the house, but weren't quite sure what they were. We had someone from Augustine come out, they were incredibly accommodating in finding a time that worked well with out schedule, arrived right on time, and helped sort things out! We'll definitely use Augustine again if we have any future issues and will recommend to the rest of our friends

Lee is great! I chose Augustine Exterminators based on being a locally owned family business, around as long as I have been, and no contract requirement, and I like their website as it is easy to navigate and is inviting. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Lee listened to my concerns and helped me brainstorm additional prevention measures, providing ideas I had not heard of. And, when I called the week before to set up an appointment, because I was moving into the residence the following weekend, they arranged the schedule so he could come out the day before the move and provided me with the first appointment of the day to accommodate my work schedule.
