I've been using Ace Pest Control now for going on 3 years and have never had any problem with bugs since I started using them. The service has always been prompt and friendly, with Allison calling ahead the day before to make sure there were no problems inside the house requiring special attention (there never have been) and the technician always knocking on my door the day of the service (at least whenever I've been there when he's arrived) to double- check.

The rates seem highly competitive with the going rates for similar services in this area. So, all told, there are certainly no complaints coming from this highly satisfied customer.

After building a home 4 years ago my husband and I decided to give our business to a local extermination company. Being from a different part of Florida we didn't know anyone for recommendations so we went online and chose Ace Pest Control. This was before we were involved with Yelp and knew what a big help Yelp provided! We have paid this company to spray around our home every other month for 4 years.

We have never had any problems nor had we ever called him back for anything in 4 years. I would say we were great customers. We even recommended their services to my very good friend who lives across the road. The nasty owner Roy, of this company never even acknowledged the recommendation I gave them! I wasn't looking for a discount, but a phone call would've been nice!

Recently we had a problem with millipedes. I called the office and the secretary Allison set up a day and time for a technician to come over. When he arrived I showed him the millipedes that were all over my deck and some in my pool. The technician sprayed my entire screen enclosure. He informed me that they were coming from the grass and it was from all the rain.

Ok I understand that, but in the middle of my yard is a pool and pavers! He sprayed my deck and off he went. Two days later the bugs are everywhere again, so I call the office. Allison the secretary informs me that someone will call me back. I tell her that these bugs are all over. The owner Roy calls me back and tells me that they don't spray pavers and when I tell him the technician already did, he tells me he wasn't supposed to!

He went on to say, he did something he's not supposed to do. He informs me that I would have to pay him $85 as a separate charge to spray my grass. I try to explain to Roy that I have a pool with pavers and that the grass is on the sides outside the screen enclosure. Roy said they are coming from the grass! I told him I would get back to him after speaking with my husband about this additional charge.

I call back again and tell Allison I had them at my slider and two got into my house. I tell her I don't understand what I'm paying you for if I can't get my slider sprayed. Roy calls me back and replies we don't spray pavers! I said why am I paying you if you can't even spray around my door? Roy says pay me $85 to spray your lawn and you will be happy.

I asked him, if in 2 days the bugs are back (as in the case when technician sprayed my screen enclosure) he replied I would have to pay him $85 again! So at this point I handed the phone to my husband and asked him to explain to my husband. My husband said to Roy, the owner of Ace, ok we will have the lawn sprayed and do you guarantee it for a month? Roy told my husband no, there is no guarantee.

My husband questioned him about a warranty for a month and Roy went on about not knowing how many millipedes are in the lawn. Then he actually said it was the exact same chemical that he sprays around the house that he would spray my lawn with. Now we already know that was like spraying water on the deck! We know this from what the technician already applied!

No guarantee! So in 2-3 days another $85! Do we look like morons?! So my husband declined to have lawn sprayed and replied to Roy, do we look like idiots? and Roy said maybe we should go our separate ways! Obviously Roy the owner of Ace Pest Control has no loyalty to his customers! Roy is obviously doing very well in a time where many are struggling!

To disregard a customer after many years. There are many businesses willing to take our money and we found one immediately! I spoke to other companies after this and was told that not only would I get a 1 month warranty, but after they sprayed I wouldn't see a thing! I explained to them the previous company already sprayed my deck and it was like water was applied.

I was told the correct products probably weren't being used and I was promised i wouldn't see a thing! For the record. That's a lie! Not only did I NEVER YELL at the owner, I never even raised my voice! I was always respectful and courteous to Roy! As far as telling the receptionist I would get another company, That's true! Why wouldn't I seek the help of another company?!?

As far as my husband, yes he was respectful but did raise his voice when told there was no warranty. My husband NEVER used profanity either and was also respectful! It's sad when people have to make things up about others!

We had Ed from Ace Pest Control over because we heard "sounds" in the attic and assumed mice. He immediately diagnosed "bats" based on excrement. He gave us a detailed remediation plan and kept us informed every step of the way. Ten days later, no bats! Everything is sealed up tightly now. Ed was professional, punctual and pleasant to deal with it.

He texted us to check in and see how things were progressing with the exits of the bats (through a one way door). We were very pleased with all aspects of this "projects. We would definitely recommend Ed and ACE Pest Control. THANK YOU!

Service itself was OK for many years although concerns that were brought up were typically met with argument from Roy he is definitely not a customer is always right type person my friend in Riverview was also brief customer but was treated even worse and had a lot of attitude from the same Roy person I don't know what the deal is with the attitude and if you notice all negative reviews are met with denial they were customers. Sort of sums up the mindset of the management of this company - control the perception even if you need to lie.

We have used Ace Pest Control several times throughout the years. Their service technician, Robbie, is always on time and their customer service can't be beat! They are genuine and honest, and will tell you what you can do to alleviate whatever pest situation you have, regardless of if you choose to use their services or not. Their pricing is extremely competitive for the wonderful service you'll receive, and we highly recommend using Ace to all of our family and friends. We will certainly be repeat customers! I have used Ace Pest Control for many years and have always had the BEST service! I have known the owner Roy Hall and his family for many years. The Hall family are wonderful folks. I'm thankful that he provides service in my area. Allison has always called me in advance to let me know when my technician (Robbie) is scheduled for service at my home.

When I thought I had a small animal living under my home, Ed the Operations Manager was here with trap the same day. I feel all the staff and family that work at Ace Pest Control are all professional, courteous and polite.

We've been using Ace for probably 10 years now and have never had a bad experience. Everyone has always been friendly, kind, and prompt. We dealt mostly with Ed in the very beginning, who was always great. Allison is consistently friendly and helpful over the phone. In the past few years Daniel was the tech who usually came to our home. Though I haven't seem him recently, he was always cheerful and friendly.

Today our service was completed by Blake. He was prompt, answered all my questions regarding ants in our house and around my garden, gave me some great advice for future maintenance, and of course was very friendly. I ALWAYS recommend Ace to anyone who asks about pest control service. Keep up the great work, guys! We always appreciate you!

I would give more stars if I could. The owner of the company Roy I met in the Boyette Creek Subdivision over 10 years ago. He was next door from my daughter and I approached him, I've been his customer ever since. I have never met anyone of his staff that wasn't pleasant and professional. Roy is more than reasonable with his charge. Plus they never hesitate to make a return visit if needed Thank you Ace Pest Control for making me feel good about my home. Love you guys! Phyllis Price

Ed was very thorough in explaining & take time so I could understand what needed to be done, the cost, & then working out a time that was most convenient for us both. When the tech Blake came he was very courteous & did his job. 2 other times we have had to use this pest control service due to yellow jacket nest in the bromeliads in our front yard. They have always been courteous, on time, & got the job done!

I requested a quote from several companies and almost immediately i received a call from Ace. After their onsite inspection it was determined that due to the nature of our unfortunate rat problem there was little they could do to assist.but Ed sat down with my us and explained in detail how we could go about rectifying the problem ourselves. He took the time to spell out in detail exactly what we needed to do as a homeowner to remove the rodents and prevent them from coming back in the future. Ed went above and beyond the call of customer service and I will now always consider Ace for any future problems we may have.

We have been a customer of Ace Pest Control for over 2 years now and have been VERY pleased with them. I skimmed through the reviews below and many people reviewing aren't even customers of this company. Well we absolutely have been very happy customers. Their technicians have always came on their bi-monthly schedule without me having to call them.

That tells me that they are organized. The technician assigned to our area is very pleasant. We always give him a cold water or Gaterade because he works in the heat to make sure our house is protected from pests. He's NEVER left our backyard gate open (unlike our lawn company) either. I've had to call in for two pest issues in the last two years.

One was because our neighbor is infested with carpenter ants (they don't have a pest control company) and they started to come over to our house. The other one was because of an oak tree right next to the house. When I called these in, one of the times I left a voicemail over the weekend (because I didn't want to forget) and they called me back first thing Monday to schedule a service call.

They took care of the issues both times and the pests are gone. I recommend this company to all of my friends and family because they really are the best. I've spoken to the owner on the phone several times and you can tell he really wants to take care of his customers. If you are looking for a pest control company, do not let these negative reviews sway your decision (especially since many of them aren't even customers or have ever used their service). Listen to an actual real customer of theirs who has signed 2 one year contracts and is completely happy with the service they provide.

An Ace Pest Control technician, Ed, did an inspection last week and told me that our house needed to be tented, which confirmed another inspection result. What made this remarkable is that we were trying to avoid tenting, which is a service Ace does not provide, by trying a spot treatment, which Ace does provide. Such honesty is refreshing and worth highlighting. While we could not use your company, I would not hesitate to tell anyone about how impressed I was with the honest assessment your company provided. Owner started cursing me out because I would not give him my CC number the night before a termite inspection. Complete jerk. This was at 455pm on the Howard Franklin. My guess is he didn't have gas money to get to thrnappointment because no business owner can be that stupid to cuss someone out. My inspection was at 8am tomorrow. Couldn't wait until then or even 30 minutes for me to get out of traffic and call him back. Miserable employees and owners it appears and probably give crapy service anyway.

Had them do one of my rental properties they kept me informed the entire time sent pictures and video. Discussed different options and what would fit best for my budget and needs. The technician was amazing and the owner kept in constant with contact me. I couldn't be happier with the service and plan to use them for all of my future pest needs on the local rental properties. Highly Recommended!

I recently found dry wood termites swarming in my home and my first quote was $2,400.00 to fix the problem and then I had to pay a yearly warranty treatment. Ace came out and within minutes found my problem was from old firewood I had kept in my home instead of getting rid of it at the end of the year. Mr. Myre with Ace could have easily quoted me $500.00 less and took my money but instead, he was honest even though he didn't make a dime. I would highly recommend this company as aren't we all just asking for honesty from any company we do business with these days?

This company has The worst customer service I've ever seen. The only reason we used this company is because the sellers of our house had a contract with them. The first time they came out was okay.nothing special, no information given or any advice/tips to help with the termite activity we've seen. The tech did say to call in a few weeks if we see any more activity.

And we did. This is when it got bad. I called for them to come in they said they could come the next day. Then they called back saying they couldn't but we're able to come that day from 3-5. My wife was running late and didn't get home right at 3. They called my wife and she said she could there within 15 mins and asked if they could wait.

The lady said that was no problem and he could wait. My wife got there within 10 mins and he was no where to be found. She called the lady back and was put on hold and then some Roy guy got on the phone. He told my wife he tech couldn't wait and the lady was wrong. So my question is How is that our fault? They obviously don't communicate and my wife was given false information.

She tried to explain Roy that and he started SCREAMING at her. He continuously cut off my wife and would not lower his voice. He said he was the president of the company.it doesn't matter who you are you do not scream at any customers. He was screaming so much and threatening to hang up even when she was trying to reschedule that he made my PREGNANT wife cry.

I am still shocked at this man's behavior. I had to call back and he "apologized" but seriously I could tell he did not feel bad what so ever. Anyway. They came out (second time since we've lived in the house) and did what they needed to do. About a week ago we got a renewal form. From the contract we had last year the renewal fee was 153.

Well the new contract said 353. When we called to find out why it went up so much Roy said "if it's worth it to you you'll pay it." We're absolutely disgusted by this man's behavior. How do you run a business like that? My wife called after the tech had left to see if there is any explanation about why the new renewal fee is so high.

The lady said because they had come out 3 times prior to this last time. (Um. Yeah the first initial visit plus two other times during swarming season). She informed us that Roy would have to call us back. Well that was several days ago. I can assume he's not going to call back and honestly he doesn't need to. We would never work with this company and I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone.

The only reason we gave it one star is because the technician was very nice. Looking at the unhappy comment below I hope this Roy guy does not reply to our post. Please don't dig yourself in a bigger hole. We are however happy Massey customers thanks to ACE. DEFINITELY worth OUR money.

Spoke with a gentlemen from this company today. As a consumer I was trying to compare pricing. The man could not be bothered. He told me to use whomever I had used in the past. On the positive side, he saved me any future aggregation with his company. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!

Just had my 8 step walk through. very happy. the guy was here right on time. he was helpful, friendly, thorough and answered all the questions I had. he was finished in an hour. the price for initial and follow up service is very reasonable. I am a happy consumer.

Ace does a lot of my termite and WDO inspections for my real estate business. They are always on-time and professional and they are great about explaining their reports if buyers have questions.
